Blonde Brownies Are Nothing Less Than the Chocolate Ones
Chocolate brownie is a delight to every mouth and heart especially when they are rich in chocolate and other flavoured sauces which are a perfect blend to it. No for others who love brownies but are not that fond of the chocolate ones, or cannot consume for any other reasons; the blonde brownies are like a life saver. They may not be able to fill the entire desires of having a chocolate brownie but they are definitely great in their own right ways. If the blonde brownies are made with the right ingredients in the right way, it is sure not to last on the table for a very long time. Everyone around will fly there hands to grab atleast one of them and if luck permits they might just have a chance on the second one.
The idea of blonde brownies is to basically make them without the chocolate, but of course every one is allowed to add their own discretion when making it at home. The most essential ingredient for this kind of brownie is the brown sugar which makes the brownies sweet which replaces the sweetness from the chocolate and also becomes chewier. The brown sugar contains molasses in it and on the basis of the amount of molasses content in the brown sugar the colour differs from light to dark. One must know that the dark brown sugars contain more molasses in comparison to those of the light ones. For the blonde brownie either of the brown sugars can be used, and the shade of the blonde brownie will also depend upon the colour of the sugar. The dark brown ones will give the brownie a darker shade and make it gooier to eat than the light ones.
Making a blonde brownie is very simple. If you have right ingredients before you, you are ready to go and in a matter of minutes one will have the delicious brownies served before them. The requirements for this specific kind of brownies are, two cups of flour, one tablespoon of baking powder, one tablespoon baking soda, one teaspoon salt, one cup of chopped walnuts or pecans, two to three cups of butter, two cups of firmly packed brown sugar, two eggs well beaten, two teaspoon of vanilla and chocolate chips is optional. Now getting down to the actual business first put soda, flour, baking powder and some salt in one bowl and mixes them and then adds some chopped nuts.
In a separate bowl melt the butter and have sugar added to it. After missing them well add the eggs and vanilla essence and mix some more. Then gradually have the flour mixture added to it and mix thoroughly. Grease a pan of 13 x 9 with butter or edible oil and pour the mixture into it. Have some chocolate chips sprinkled on the top and bake the mixture at a temperature of three hundred and twenty five degrees in the oven for about forty minutes, till one can insert a toothpick and pull it out clean.
